Crisis in the company? Take advantage of the Early Warning Programme

It is still less than a month since the launch of the Early Warning programme by PARP and the Family Firms Foundation, and already 16 entrepreneurs from all over Poland have signed up for it. The project is a pilot and will end in 2023.

To participate in the programme, simply fill in a simple form at www.parp.gov.pl, describing the problems faced by the company and selecting the consultant with whom the entrepreneur wishes to work. The profiles of the consultants - business psychologists, trainers and coaches - are also available on this website. At the moment there are four consultants, but in four months there are expected to be ten.

The first stage of assistance is to work with a consultant, which will last about 10 hours. After that, the entrepreneur will be referred for further work with a mentor - an experienced entrepreneur who will help find the right solutions to a difficult situation. The programme has 23 mentors who work pro bono. The target number is to be 50 by the end of the year.

- After the new restructuring law comes into force, entrepreneurs have a chance to 'repair' their company in peace, without the threat of bailiff enforcement, says Małgorzata Anisimowicz, a restructuring advisor at PMR Restructuring, a law firm participating in this programme. Therefore, it is very important for them to react at an early stage to emerging symptoms of crisis situations in the company. This is business wisdom, that the owner of the company notices changes and gets ahead of them, seeking help before it is too late and there is nothing left but its bankruptcy, explains Małgorzata Anisimowicz.
