Share this article:

Already half of all companies declare that the rising prices of energy, fuels and raw materials are barriers that strongly hinder their operations - this is the conclusion of a report by the Polish Economic Institute.

What measures are Polish companies taking in response to the energy crisis?
65 per cent of companies have increased the prices of their products and services
57% reduced the overall running costs of their organisation
46 per cent sought cheaper raw materials, materials and services from suppliers
36 per cent put planned investments on hold

High energy prices hit energy-intensive companies hardest, i.e. those that consume the most energy in the economy. These include transport and manufacturing.

Details of the survey by the Polish Economic Institute are reported by @Wprost Biznes
