Construction companies are starting to see their revenues fall. The market is in a downturn and there are not enough new orders to provide a stable cash flow to cover the high costs of doing business.
Moreover, the Polish Association of Construction Employers, in its latest report, estimates that the lack of new orders leads to fierce price competition between companies, which promotes aggressive behaviour at the bidding stage. "Construction companies often offer dangerously low prices just to win a contract. Such circumstances will negatively affect the profitability of companies in 2023-2025″, it wrote.
