👉 In July, entrepreneurs registered 29,000 new companies - 6.4 per cent less than a year ago. The decline is visible among most industries, with information and communication and accommodation and catering (23 and 21 per cent) being the hardest hit. The weakening is related to the bottom of the economic slowdown, explains Sebastian Sajnóg from the Polish Economic Institute.
Simultaneously the number is growing companies being closed 📈 In July, 15,000 were deregistered, which means an increase of 9.9% compared to the previous year. More and more entrepreneurs are also deciding to suspend their operations. Already 10,000 entities have decided to do so, while a year ago it was 7.8 thousand.
