New lockdown means more than £1 billion in losses per day

The lockdown announced by 9 April may cost the Polish economy more than PLN 25 billion, according to calculations by 'Rzeczpospolita'. Huge losses will be incurred by stationary shops, hotels and the service sector, led by the catering industry. This is, next to the fitness industry, the hardest hit with months of sales only with delivery or takeaway.

Małgorzata Anisimowicz – qualified restructuring advisor and president of the management board of PMR Restrukturyzacje commented on the Rzeczpospolita daily's publication on bankruptcy enterprises.
