Hotel occupancy rates at the seaside not yet delighting Polish entrepreneurs

Share this article:

The holiday season has been in full swing for several days ☀🏖 Hoteliers point out that tourist interest is there, but... it could be much higher.

Occupancy in July reaches around 70%, but in most hotels Poles account for only 25% guests. On top of this, financial constraints mean that either luxury hotels, which nobody saves on, or aparthotels are the most popular. Guesthouses and mid-range hotels, on the other hand, are complaining about a lack of customers 🚫.

📣 "Tourism is recovering very slowly after the COVID-19 pandemic, and inflation has become a bigger brake on our tourism plans than the pandemic itself. Polish tourists are watching every expense from all sides and are not willing to go on holiday frenzies without a memory," says Hanna Mojsiuk, President of the Northern Chamber of Commerce in Szczecin.
