Important information about consumer bankruptcy in Poland

PMR Restrukturyzacje S.A. specialists keep up to date with statistics on consumer bankruptcy proceedings and assess the possibilities offered by the Bankruptcy Act.

"The Act provides opportunities for consumers who, through circumstances beyond their control, have so far had no chance of getting out of the situation in which they find themselves. This is real help for thousands of people in Poland who are unable to pay their debts. These people often live in the 'grey zone' and want to work and live normally",

PMR experts estimate that in the coming months we will see a dynamic increase in the number of applications for consumer bankruptcy caused by the growing knowledge about this debt relief tool among individuals. From the current annual level of over 5 thousand (2016), in a few years we will reach the level of about 50 thousand.
