The National Debtors Register is not working smoothly

The system, which was supposed to move restructuring and insolvency proceedings online, needs changes and fine-tuning.
It's been two months since the Act of 28 May 2021 amending the Act on the National Register of Indebted Persons and certain other acts came into force. It gave a second life to the Covid simplified restructuring. It also moved restructuring proceedings to the Internet. How do the solutions work?
Simplified proceedings have been the most popular restructuring tool in Poland since its introduction in July 2020. During the year, 1,251 proceedings were opened, with a success rate of almost 50 per cent.
— This solution is not only much faster than other procedures, but also more efficient — says Małgorzata Anisimowicz, President of PMR Restrukturyzacje, qualified restructuring advisor.
Many entrepreneurs wanted to take advantage of the Covid-19 relief even before the new regulations came into force. simplified restructuring, which is why November saw a lot of activity. The new formula is also very popular.
— In January we also see great interest in the new version simplified restructuring — says Małgorzata Anisimowicz.
