How to find out if a company is already in crisis

Is your company in a difficult situation? You do not know what the reasons are for your financial losses and the measures you are taking are not working? Or are you facing the need to restructure? Do you lack the knowledge of how to do this and fear bankruptcy? In this situation, it is worth considering participation in the 'Early Warning System (EWS)' programme, run by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP). The third edition of the call is open to small and medium-sized companies. Each entrepreneur has a chance to receive a grant of PLN 18.5 thousand. They can spend it, among others, on training and advisory services. The money comes from the programme Knowledge Education Development. The project budget is approximately PLN 42 million.
Małgorzata Anisimowicz, president of PMR Restructuring, points out that programmes such as EWS protect companies from bankruptcy.
- It is very important for a business owner to know how to recognise the symptoms of the threat of insolvency at a very early stage and what procedures to implement in order not to escalate the troubles. The point is that the company should not wait until there is nothing left but to file for bankruptcy,' says Małgorzata Anisimowicz.
